Remote sensing bar code readers make it easier to

read bar codes, especially ones in hard to get at

locations or on cables or leads. This speeds up testing

significantly, reduces errors and produces major

savings in time and money. Pre- configured for use

with the MicroPAT+.

Systems with USB ports only will

need a USB adaptor

A TL125 download lead is required

when used with the MicroPAT+.

Martindale recommends Shire software for use with

the MicroPAT+.

Shire software allows maintenance of comprehensive

data records downloaded from a PAT and information

such as description and notes can be added.

Individual certificates, customised with a logo, or lists

of passed items can be printed out. Check lists of

tested appliances can be produced before re-testing,

to assist in finding all the items from the previous year.

This software is also compatible with many other PATs

and is very easy to use.
